Sarah Rhoads isa telemedicine/telehealth researcher and educator, emphasizing on the humanimpact of technologies on nursing roles and patient centered care. Workingacross the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences College of Medicine, theUniversity’s ANGELS obstetrical telemedicine program and the Center forDistance Health, Dr. Rhoads has coordinated distance education and researchinitiatives through telemedicine to rural providers and nurses alike. She hasexpertise in patient-centered care and educational materials, as well asperformance improvement continuing education. Improving maternal, neonatal, andpediatric care in rural areas is her passion.
