Deborah Horvath has been a registered nurse for nineteen years. She has worked in emergency departments in urban and community settings for sixteen years in various roles including leadership, staff nurse, and lead preceptor. She earned a master of science in nursing from Walden University in 2011, specializing in nursing informatics, and she has been board certified in nursing informatics since 2012. Deborah is also a 2014 graduate of the Birchtree Center for HealthCare Transformation’s Integrative Healing Arts Academy. For the past three years she has held a regional clinical informatics position with St. John Providence Health System in Detroit, MI.
