Rosemary Ventura MA, RN

Rosemary Ventura is director of nursing informatics at New York-Presbyterian Hospital in New York. In this role, she is responsible for providing leadership, innovation, and strategy for nursing at 6 campuses, including all administrative and clinical software, electronic medical records, communication tools, mobility, as well as other nursing technologies that support nursing workflow, efficiency, and patient safety. Ms. Ventura earned a bachelor’s in nursing science and masters of arts in nursing informatics from New York University. She is currently enrolled in the doctorate of nursing practice program at Case Western Reserve University in Cleveland, OH.
Previously, she held leadership positions in information technology (IT). As the director of IT clinical systems at Health Quest in New York, she led a team responsible for clinical applications used by 3000 employees across multiple operational departments, three facilities, and a 30-office  physician practice group. At NYU Langone Medical Center, Ms. Ventura was the assistant director, inpatient clinical systems, responsible for development and support of order entry and clinical documentation for providers, nurses, and ancillary professionals.
