Carolyn S. Harmon PhD, DNP, RN-BC

Dr. Carolyn Harmon currently serves as the Dean of Nursing at Belmont Abbey College near Charlotte, NC. She received her PhD in nursing science from the University of South Carolina in 2022 and her DNP with an executive leadership focus from the University of Alabama at Birmingham in 2014. She is also an ANCC Board Certified Informatics Nurse, Certified Six Sigma Green Belt, fellow in the Amy V. Cockcroft Leadership Program, and a 2018 recipient of the state of South Carolina’s Palmetto Gold Award. She currently serves as a past president on the national board for the American Nursing Informatics Association and is the 2021-2022 recipient of the ENA and Sigma Foundation’s research grant.
