Rick Black is the customer service-focused physician liaison for Bon Secours Richmond Community Hospital. He began with Bon Secours in 2009 as a member of their physician engagement team encouraging physicians to become early adapters of the electronic medical record software the health care system scheduled to be installed in the upcoming months. As a credentialed trainer of the EPIC system, renamed ConnectCare by Bon Secours, Rick developed a great working relationship with physicians. Meaningful Use compliance became a passion for Rick, and he worked with local physicians to meet and exceed the upcoming federal objectives. Rick earned his bachelor’s degree in business administration from Saint Paul’s College in Lawrenceville, GA.
