Julie Jones MS, RN-BC

Julie Jones, MS, RN-BC is an EHR clinical application analyst staff and adjunct professor at the University of Vermont Medical Center. She received her bachelor’s degree in nursing at Rhode Island College and her master’s degree from the adult nurse practitioner program at the University of Vermont. Her master’s research focused on embracing the use of email as a mode of mentoring new graduate nurses. She is a global leader of Sigma Theta Tau International (STTI) Honor Society of Nursing as regional chapters coordinating committee chair. She is a local leader in informatics and is one of the founding members of the first state chapter of American Nursing Informatics Association. She has served on the technology task force for STTI for Region15 and also at the international level. She has given national and international presentations on social media.
