Dr. Aris Eliades is Associate Director of the Rebecca D. Considine Research Institute and Director of Nursing Research at Akron Children’s Hospital. Dr. Eliades has extensive clinical experience in pediatric and neonatal critical, acute and home care settings and two decades of experience leading electronic health record and technology implementations. Most recently, she led the Akron Children’s Hospital ZynxCare implementation and was nursing operations leader for the in-patient EHR implementation. She presents nationally and internationally on a variety of nursing topics and is a well published author and reviewer. Dr. Eliades has received numerous awards including The Society of Pediatric Nurses "Excellence in Nursing Research Award", Delta Omega Chapter of Sigma Theta Tau International’s "Lillian DeYoung Research Award," The University of Akron College of Nursing’s "Distinguished Alumni," and the prestigious 2013 Northeast Ohio Nursing Initiative’s Legacy Award.
