Orlando Scott is a Clinical Application Specialist in the Patient Monitoring and Analytics space for Philips Health Care. He specializes in software based solutions designed to aid the bedside practitioners in the early identification of deteriorating patients and the secondary notification of alert messages related to patient monitoring alarm systems. He also works with a team of clinical specialists, integration engineers, and project managers to design, test, and operationalize customized solutions to optimize clinical workflows that meet customer’s individual clinical challenges in the General Care arena. Orlando is a member of several professional nursing and health IT related organizations and has recently completed a post graduate certificate in Health Care Informatics.
