W. Michael Widmann MSN, RN-BC, CCRN

Michael Widmann is a Coordinator of Clinical Informatics at the Excela Health System in Southwestern Pennsylvania. In this role, Mike acts as the bridge between the bedside clinicians and the Information Technology Department. He is currently coordinating the implementation of smart room technology into the renovations of the Intensive Care Unit at Westmoreland Hospital. Mike’s nursing background includes 13 years of critical care nursing as a bedside nurse, clinical nurse coordinator, and clinical education specialist. He currently serves as the Secretary for the Western Pennsylvania Chapter of ANIA.
