Meri Shaffer BA, RN, COS-C

Meri Shaffer has been a nurse for over 30 years. She has been involved with implementing point of care documentation and other technologies for 16 years. Recently she was employed at a large home care agency where she and her colleagues worked together to utilize information already documented by home care clinicians and give them useful feedback on best practices. She has since left her position at Montefiore Home Care and is now an informatics nurse at Healthfirst, a non-profit managed care organization serving Medicare/Medicaid members in the NYC area.
