Barbara Hutchison currently serves as the Manager of Clinical Informatics at Advocate Condell Medical Center based in Libertyville, Illinois. She is charged with spearheading culture transformation efforts and the enhancements in the electronic medical record, utilizing lean management and other process improvement tactics. Additionally, she serves as the project manager for system-wide initiatives by closely aligning nursing practice to innovation and the aims of quality, access, and cost initiatives. She consistently elevates the voice and value of nursing and the care delivery team. She is a member of the ANIA and serves as an academic faculty instructor for nursing.
