Kimberly Wells is a board-certified registered nurse with 20 plus years of healthcare experience. Kim is currently employed as a Managing Consultant at Navigant Consulting, Inc. Prior to joining Navigant, Kim was a Clinical Informatics Specialist at Inland Northwest Health Services, Beacon Community of the Inland Northwest (BCIN). She assisted medical practices to incorporate the BCIN HIE clinical support tools and recommended procedures into existing practice workflow.
In addition, Kim worked as a perioperative process manager in clinical systems improvement. She helped improve patient flow throughout perioperative services. She focused on patient and surgeon satisfaction and efficient utilization of perioperative personnel. She collaborated and worked directly with computer programmers to create and implement new, customized IT tools to track patient flow and create dashboard reports on processes, physicians, and staff. She also has worked as a perioperative services manager and a perioperative registered nurse. Kim received her bachelor of science in nursing with a minor in business from Washington State University.
