Diane Humbrecht DNP, RN-BC

Chief Nursing Informatics Officer, Abington Jefferson Health

Diane is the Chief Nursing Informatics Officer at Abington Jefferson Health. She has worked at Abington for 28 years and has served in a variety of nursing leadership roles. Diane created and developed the informatics department and informatics roles at Abington over the past 11 years. Additionally she is an adjunct professor at West Chester University teaching DNP students informatics. Diane has been the recipient of numerous awards including The 2010 Bayada award for Nursing Innovation and the 2011 Nursing Spectrum award for leading the profession of nursing.

She obtained her masters in nurse leadership with a minor in informatics from the University of Pennsylvania in 2008 and her doctorate in nursing practice from Vanderbilt University in 2015.

As an ANIA board member, Diane has focused on the new development of regional chapters. She is currently serving in her second term.

Diane Humbrecht has her Master’s Degree from the University of Pennsylvania in Nursing Leadership with a minor in Informatics. She has a DNP from Vanderbilt and is currently adjunt faculty at West Chester University.
