Using an in-depth approach to introduce and/or enhance nurses’ understanding of taking an idea and developing it into a solution is the focus of this workshop. Building on nursing informaticists’ skills and competencies, participants expand their professional toolkit with concepts of design thinking, human-centered design, the science of innovation, and an enhanced knowledge of the project life cycle.
