Creating a Virtual Visitor Experience for Inpatients

The Virtual Visitor Experience (VVE) at UCSF was created initially to reduce PPE use with COVID patients, and then to respond to visitor restrictions. Rapid development and tight improvement cycles have allowed it to expand throughout the hospital, where it has become increasingly valuable to care teams. In this presentation we discuss the creation and positive effects of the Virtual Visitor Experience.

In order to receive contact hours for ANIA webinar sessions, participants must observe the following: Attend 90% of each session attended where you are claiming contact hours, complete an online evaluation, and submit.
