1. Year of the Nurse

In honor of Florence Nightingale’s 200th birthday in 2020, there is an international focus from the WHO, the ANA and ANIA to focus on the profession of the nurse this year.

Florence Nightingale was a natural innovator; she tracked infection rates and correlated them to the spread of disease.

In the spirit of the Year of the Nurse, we will hear from Becky Fox, MSN, RN-BC, CNIO from Atrium Health, who will share how nurses and clinical informaticians are the perfect innovators during a pandemic and what opportunities lie ahead.
