To assess implementation decisions and address usability concerns encountered by health providers, a team of physicians, researchers, and nurse informaticists developed the ONC Usability Change Package under an ONC contract. This change package is a toolkit for clinical end users in healthcare settings. The change package provides guidance and contains resources to help the user(s) improve the usability and mitigate usability issues encountered while using an electronic health record.
